Garden Stack Mondays 10-1 starts April 7th
You will focus on making a stacked sculptural form on rebar, which can be used in your garden or house. You will construct the forms out of coils, slabs, additive and reduction. Your stack will be 18”-24”, you will need 12” to sink in the ground. This 6 week period will allow for us to focus on the form and overall design of your piece. Coil construction is a wonderful way to build larger forms. You will learn how to apply glazes and how make conscious aesthetic choices.
This will be a 6 week course meeting 3 hours per week, clay, 1 piece of rebar, studio tools and a standard palate of glazes will be provided. As well as access to the open studio during your 6 week course period.
Meets the following Mondays from 10-1: April 7th, April 14th, April 21st, April 28,May 12th and May 19th. )We will skip 5/5 so I can get everything bisque fired.
Cancellation policy: You can cancel up to a week before class starts for a class credit, after that no refunds or cancellations 7 days prior to class or after it starts. If I have to cancel due to illness/ emergency, I will make up a scheduled class with you the following week.
